Welcome to my EDT 3010 portfolio. On these pages you will find my work for my Fall 2010, EDT class. Join me in my journey through the confusing and rewarding technological tools available for humans to use. As a student, it is my duty to learn as much as possible and as a future teacher it is my duty to find ways with which to bring new enthusiasm into the classroom. I hope that this portfolio will help me and you, dear reader, to discover what awaits in this brave new world of technological advancements.

Who am I?

  1. My name is Dahlia Faith Hertz
  2. I am a 21 year old college student
  3. I attend Metro State College of Denver
  4. My major is english
  5. My minor is secondary education
  6. It is my goal to graduate with a degree in english and a license in teaching secondary education

How Did I Get Here?
  1. I spent seven years at Denver School of the Arts as a dance major
  2. I graduated high school in 2007
  3. I attended one semester at The College of New Jersey
  4. I am currently in my junior year at Metro
  5. I dabled for a semester or two in social work
  6. I jumped to teacher education four semesters ago...
  7. ...and ended up here as a requirement for my minor

Where Do I Want to Go?
  1. I would like to use the next year or so to finish my baccalaureate degree
  2. For my student teaching requirement I would like to go back to my old high school
  3. Eventually I would like to teach in public schools, ideally in Denver but anywhere I can get a job will do
